GROUP NAME: ASPECT:RATIO
Students talented in photography, videography, and digital media will find this group exciting. Requirements include serving as a resource to area churches and assisting in the development of audio visual projects on/off campus.
GROUP NAME: TAKE NOTE
Passionate musicians in instrumental or vocal performance will be drawn to this group. Opportunities include on-campus performances plus community involvement through off-campus productions.
GROUP NAME: EXALT
NICHE: WORSHIP MINISTRY
The student with a desire to be an integral part of planning/leading a worship gathering will be glad to know about this group. Internship at a local church and attendance at worship seminars are required.
GROUP NAME: COLLIDE
Mission trip enthusiasts will want to apply for this group as they learn about elements most needed in organizing local, national and international mission journeys.
GROUP NAME: INTERACT
Involvement in theatre at OVU means active participation on and off-stage: performing, designing sets, costumes, or lighting, and directing. Attending a Broadway show enhances this group by bringing learning to life on stage.
GROUP NAME: S.C.U.F.
NICHE: ULTIMATE FRISBEE
Ultimate Frisbee athletes love combining the strategies of soccer, football, and basketball in this co-ed, non-contact sport on OVU’s campus. Participants in this group practice throughout the year and travel to tournaments fall and spring semesters.
Ohio Valley University has established a unique program called One+One. Upon the applicant’s acceptance into one of OVU’s niche groups, the university will sponsor the education of a child in need! Niche group participants will enjoy the opportunity to correspond with their sponsored student as both continue their educational journeys.
