Why Doug chose OVU:  "I wanted to find a college that had a good education and gave myself a good opportunity to play college baseball."

High School/Previous:  Doug was a four year letterman in baseball at Newcomerstown high school.  He was a second team all-conference his junior and senior year and was voted second team all eastern district in both baseball and football.  Mullens was selected as well to play in the eastern district all star game in Ohio.  He is the son of Doug and Linda Mullens.
