Why Michael chose OVU:  "I like the small school atmosphere along with a very good business program.  I think the coaches are great and I wanted to be in a baseball program that worked very hard and I got everything I wanted in choosing OVU"

High School/Previous:  Michael was voted second team all state as a pitcher for local baseball power Parkersburg South high school.  He was a four year starter and finished his senior season as the single season record holder for wins.  He is the son of Cliff and Lanette Hecker.
