High School/Previous: Mike transfered from Wheeling Jesuit after playing for them for one year in 2006. Mike went to Steubenville high in Steubenville, OH. There he was a two-time all-eastern district first team as well as two-time all OVAC all conference team. His baseball team made it to the state championship his senior year, and state semifinals his junior. Giannamore was also MVP of the golf team two years straight and played soccer for Steubenville in which he was offensive MVP scoring 10 goals in a season. He is the son of Michael and Elaine Giannamore.
