Why Will chose OVU:  "OVU has a great baseball program and has been competitive on a yearly basis.  The team has a very family oriented philosophy to go along with the tradition.  The school offers good course degree programs and I felt is was a great place to further my career."

High School/Previous:  Griffith was a multi-sport athlete while at Falconer high school, with membership in the football, wrestling, and cross country programs to go along with baseball.  He was voted his teams Most Valuable Pitcher in 2004 and 2005, and also was voted 1st and 2nd team All-Star in those years respectively.  in 2005 Will was the schools Scholar Athlete of the Year.  Will transfered to Ohio Valley after attending Jamestown Community College, a two year junior college in Jamestown, New York.  There he was also a member of the wrestling team as well.  He is the son of Mary Heath and Bill Heath.
