VIENNA, WV  – OVU’s Lady Scots basketball program will host two youth basketball camps for girls in grades second through eighth on September 24 and October 1 at the Snyder Activity Center, located off College Parkway in Vienna.

Both clinics are designed to teach the proper fundamentals in developing each athlete into a complete player. Players will be broken down according to their age groups. Athletes will have the opportunity to work and learn proper fundamentals, as well as compete in a variety of competitions. The camp will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of each camp. Pre-registration is available online at www.ovu.edu/ladyscotsbasketballclinic through Sept. 16.

The cost is $30 per student for one session or $55 per student for both sessions. Each camper will receive a team camp photo with the Lady Scots' coaches, players, and campers. Awards will be given out after each competition.

Lunch will not be provided. All athletes should bring their own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase during each break.

OVU Head Women’s Basketball Coach David Wadlington will serve as the lead instructor for the camp. Other instructors will include OVU Assistant Women’s Basketball Coaches Kim Stephens and Stacy Houser, and Lady Scots Basketball Players.
