VIENNA, W. Va. – Ohio Valley University’s Amanda Martinez has been named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) women’s soccer Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Martinez guided the Lady Scots to a 1-1 record on the week. Coming off a loss, Martinez tallied the game-winning goal against Alderson-Broaddus Saturday (October 22) in overtime. The victory marked the first for OVU in conference action this season.

Martinez is a senior majoring in psychology from San Bernardino, California.
