VIENNA, WV  – Ohio Valley University’s Ashley Wilcox was named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) women’s soccer Player of the Week September 27, as announced by the league office.

Wilcox recorded two game-winning goals the previous week, helping the Lady Fighting Scots go 2-0 against non-conference competition. The freshman defender from Colliers, W. Va., also dished out an assist in the win over Lincoln.

The two wins are the first of the season for OVU’s women’s soccer.
