Schoolcraft College:  Avery was named to the NJCAA Women's Basketball Division II All-American First Team as a sophomore....was also named Michigan (MCCAA) Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore.  She led Schoolcraft (Ocelots) to a (33-2) third place finish at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament....averayed 17 points and 12 rebounds in three games to earn a spot on the NJCAA II All-Tournament Team....scored 24 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in the final consolation game against Kankakee, IL....named to the NJCAA All-Regional Tournament Team following a 12 point, 16 rebound performance in a 74-64 win over Owens CC in the Region Championship game.  Amber led the team as a sophomore averaging 13 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting .559% from the field.  She set the school record for most rebounds in a season (360) this year and finished her career as the all-time leading rebounder (621), 6th all-time leading scorer (803), and third all-time in field-goal percentage (.526).  Amber played in a school record 70 games in her two-year career, helping the Ocelots go 65-5 in that span, with back-to-back NJCAA Regional Championships and two Final Four appearances.
