PACE: PRESIDENT'S AMBASSADORS FOR CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Ohio Valley University's greatest service to the church in our region is stated in its mission of transforming lives in a Christ-centered academic community. The mission of PACE is to provide a mutually beneficial partnership, and serve as a liaison, between Ohio Valley University and our church contituency.

The University serves by assisting churches and families in the nurturing of their young people through the experience of Christian Education. PACE also assist congregations in the development of future church leaders (i.e. preachers, elders, deacons, teachers, etc.). Churches can assist the University by informing the admissions office about prospective students, and the advancement office about individuals or other resources that the University can develop to provide financial support its the core mission.

PACE also identifies the needs of various congregations and individual Christians that the university can address using the resources available to it. This includes providing speakers as requested, providing workshops and seminars on specific topics, and providing consultation to church leaders and to individual Christians.

PACE will  identify individuals within supporting congregations who can serve as resources to the various educational entities within the university. For example, speakers for daily chapel services or other university events, serving on advisory boards, and offering consultation in areas of expertise.

PACE MEMBERSHIP AND BENEFITS
