The Residual ACT can only be administered to those individuals who are enrolled at Ohio Valley University, have been admitted to OVU, or are in the process of applying for admission to OVU. The Residual ACT can only be taken if the student is not able to make any of the National Testing Dates.
The Residual ACT is similar to the National ACT, in terms of format and scoring, but the score received from the Residual can only be used at Ohio Valley University. A copy of the score report will be sent to Ohio Valley University's Office of Admissions.
The ACT will take approximately 3 1/2 hours. There is a waiting period of 60 days before a residual ACT can be repeated.
The fee for the test is $45, which will be paid by check or money order made payable to Ohio Valley University. A photo I.D. must be presented to be admitted to the test. Acceptable forms of I.D. include a driver's license, military I.D., or current passport.
Test takers may bring an approved calculator to use on the math portion of the exam. To see if your calculator is approved, please click here.
