If you are a transfer student, you must follow the same procedures as above. Please be sure to include transcripts of ALL coursework completed from EACH college or university you have attended.

APPLYING AS A HOME-SCHOOLED STUDENT
If you are a home school student, we welcome your application to Ohio Valley University. Just follow the admissions process outlined above. Your transcript should demonstrate completion of high school, but the University will be flexible regarding documentation of basic credit hours. Because the University believes in the validity of home school education, you will not be required to produce an accredited diploma or a GED in order to gain admission to the University.
Once you've sent your application, call us toll-free at 1-877-446-8668 to speak with an admissions counselor and schedule a campus visit. You should also call or email if you have any questions about the admissions process.

- Submit the completed application for admission along with the $20 application fee. If you apply for admission online, we'll waive the application fee. Note: The $20 application fee does not apply to those applying to the School of Professional Studies.
- Request that your high school transcripts be sent to Ohio Valley University.
- Submit an official copy of your ACT or SAT score.
- International students also need to submit TOEFL scores along with ACT or SAT scores.
