Just the Facts
I was born and raised in Petersburg, VA. I came to Ohio Valley University in the Fall of 1986 to complete my degree. While a student at OVU I also served as men’s dormitory supervisor, assistant manager in the student union, and senior class president. I graduated in 1989 with a BS Degree in Bible, and began work at OVU as manager of the student union. While working at OVU I also attended West Virginia University receiving an MA Degree in Communications Studies in 1992. In 1995 I began working in the Admissions Office. My focus in admissions is in church and Christian school relations. I also recruit in Virginia and schedule Express and Ambassador performances as well.
Why I Work In OVU Admissions:
I work in the Admissions Office because I enjoy working with prospective students in an effort to offer them the same life changing opportunities that was afforded to me as a student at OVU. I also enjoy interacting with our current students trying to make a difference in their lives just as the faculty/staff did in my life.
