The Ohio Valley University SGA was organized in order to:
- Be servant-leaders in the University’s Christ-centered community;
- Work with the administration in addressing, and taking responsibility for the spiritual, academic, and social well-being of all students; and
- Accomplish the University's mission to transform lives.
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10
Featuring four executive officers and a Parliament, the SGA serves the student body by providing a vital role as a communication link to the administration, and a presence in the governance of the University. SGA also organizes and sponsors a variety of activities and programs throughout the academic year.
You are encouraged to become acquainted with the officers and Parliament members, and communicate to them on matters that warrant SGA consideration. In order to serve effectively, the SGA needs your support.
Meeting minutes from the current semester are available for download on the right. Meeting minutes from prior semesters are available upon request to the Secretary of the SGA and/or the Dean of Students.
