To ensure the safety of the Ohio Valley University community, its members should not possess or detonate any type of commercial or homemade explosives on campus.

Additionally, its members should not possess guns, archery equipment, knives, or other weapons on campus. Resident students should seek alternative, off-campus arrangements to store such equipment, including that used for hunting purposes.

Finally, Ohio Valley University community members should not display any weapon in a threatening manner.

Violations of the Explosives & Weapons policy may result in the following disciplinary responses:

1st Offense = Minimum 5-day Suspension + Individualized Action Plan

2nd Offense = Suspension for remainder of semester + Re-application to enroll in subsequent semesters
