The Ohio Valley University residence halls are separated into male and female living spaces. In order to be consistent with the values of the University, students and/or visitors should never enter the residence halls of the opposite sex without specific permission of Student Life personnel. 

Violations of the Improper Visitation in Residence Halls policy may result in the following disciplinary responses:

1st Offense = Minimum of 3-day Suspension + Individualized Action Plan

2nd Offense = Minimum of 5-day Suspension + Individualized Action Plan

3rd Offense = Suspension for remainder of semester + Re-application to enroll in subsequent semesters
