"Hello! Ohio Valley University, Admissions..."

I'm the voice you hear on the other end of the phone line. I spent most of my growing up years in Chardon, OH. I attended Ohio Valley College from 1984-1986 graduating with an AA in Speech Communications with a Theater emphasis. I continued my education at Oklahoma Christian College graduating in 1988 with a BA in Speech Communications and Theater.

I was first employed at OVC from 1988-1992 as the Director of Theater Activities and Pied Pipers. I also taught several speech and theater classes. I met my husband, Jim, at OVC and we married in 1990. We've been blessed with three children: Willow, Walker and Weston. After many years as a stay-at-home mom, Ohio Valley College (now Ohio Valley University) once again beckoned and in 2006 I was hired as the Office Manager of the OVU Admissions Department.

When I attended OVC, our motto was "Educating to Serve". Working in the Admissions Department allows me to serve others with a friendly voice, helpful attitude and cooperative spirit.
