Ohio Valley University offers academic scholarships to qualified recipients with annual awards ranging from $1000 to full tuition (as much as $16,000 in 2008-09). These awards are based primarily on ACT or SAT scores and are available for both full-time freshmen and qualified transfer students (with a minimum of 24 credit hours in transfer).  Academic scholarship recipients may continue to receive their awards for future enrollment years based on their ability to maintain a required grade point average (GPA) determined by the amount of the scholarship.  A continuing student may earn an academic scholarship based on the student's GPA at the beginning of the fall semester.  For more information about an academic scholarship, call the OVU Admissions Office toll-free at 1-866-485-6600.
