OHIO VALLEY UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

Ohio Valley University strives to fulfill its mission by developing teachers who have strong ethical principles, who have a genuine desire to serve and guide their students, and who are academically prepared. Therefore, the School of Education is interdisciplinary, clinical, and field based. Its conceptual framework is The Teacher Professional (TTP), which provides alignment for state and program goals. Many instructional models such as direct instruction, cooperative learning, direct experiences, and interactive learning promote an awareness of individual teaching and learning styles, with a continuous emphasis on faith-based learning and growth.
