If you are an international student and want to apply for admission as a freshman or transfer student in Ohio Valley University's traditional program, you must submit the following items:
- A completed OVU Application for Admission. [Apply Online Here]
- An application fee of $20 US dollars.
- Your official academic transcript from high school. If the original document is not in English, please submit a certified translation. If you have attended a college or university, you must submit an official, evaluated transcript. Click evaluating transcripts for more information about organizations that perform transcript evaluation.
- Evidence that you have $26,796 to support your educational and living expenses.
- Official results from an ACT or SAT I test.
- Your TOEFL results. You must have a minimum of 500 on a paper-based TOEFL or a minimum of 173 on a computer-based TOEFL (must have been taken within the last two years).
- Two (2) personal references (cannot be from a relative).
