The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program at Ohio Valley University offers international students the opportunity to build English speaking skills, cultural skills, and intellectual skills needed to be successful in a global society while studying in a safe, kind, accepting, and helpful environment. Students earn academic credit during the initial semester, either summer or fall. A student who satisfactorily completes the Welcome Program or earns a TOEFL score of 500 may enroll in the traditional program.
