The library is located on the ground floor of the Stotts Administration Center. It is a pleasant and well-equipped facility used by both faculty and students for research, study, and leisure reading. Holdings include approximately 34,000 volumes, 142 print periodical subscriptions, 60,203 microforms, and 6,779 Audio Visuals. The Library also subscribes to 30+ electronic databases for periodicals, reference sources, and 93,763 e-book titles. An automated system supports circulation and an online catalog. A collection of audio-visual materials and equipment is also available for student and faculty use. Library is open 74 hours per week.
Through OCLC, a library service provider, students and faculty have interlibrary loan access to a national network of libraries. Bibliographic instruction is offered through the classroom and on an individual basis. It is the aim of the library to build and maintain a balanced collection of print, non-print, and electronic resources to support the academic programs of OVU.
