OUR MISSION
|
In the Ohio Valley University School of Arts and Sciences, we seek to transform lives in a Christ-centered academic community that integrates higher learning, biblical faith, and service to God and humanity. This mission is accomplished by the following:
- Through quality academic offerings in the Arts and Sciences, we equip students with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values. These will serve them in their education, in their professions, in their faith journeys, and in all aspects of their lives, and will enable them to be contributing citizens in their local, national, and global communities.
- We encourage life-shaping relationships among Arts and Sciences faculty, staff, and students.
- We foster holistic growth by providing opportunities in visual arts, media, theatre, and music.
- Through our modeling, mentoring, and teaching, we provide the tools for developing healthy families and quality relationships.
