This enduring institution enjoys a history of blessings, more than 40 years of close relationships, with benefactors who have taken the our students', the university's and the community's best interests to heart. Those who have the privilege to serve at OVU stand on the shoulders of generations who sacrificed to make this place the excellent and distinctive learning community it is today.

Those generations held hands across time and distance to collectively support a university that has a unique Christian heritage and a learning community of faculty and students that literally changes lives daily.
