In the Fall 2017 semester, total student headcount enrollment was 568. Of these students, 283 (50%) were female and 285 (50%) were male. 13% of Ohio Valley University undergraduate students were nonresident aliens, 4.3% were Hispanic/Latino, 5.9% were Black or African American, non-Hispanic, 50% were White, non-Hispanic, 1.8% were American Indian or Alaska Native, non-Hispanic, 9% were Asian, non-Hispanic, 2.3% were two or more races, non-Hispanic, and 23% were classified as race and/or ethnicity unknown.

58% of Ohio Valley undergraduate students participate on collegiate athletic teams. 51% of Ohio Valley University’s undergraduate students are from out-of-state (excluding international students).  The average age of OVU undergraduate, full-time students is 21.

Student Financial Assistance

Federal Student Financial Aid Penalties for Drug Law Violations

A conviction for any offense, during a period of enrollment for which a student was receiving Title IV, HEA Program (federal) funds, under any federal law involving the possession or sale of illegal drugs will result in the loss of eligibility for any Title IV, HEA grant, loan or work-study assistance (HEA Sec. 484(r)(1)); (20 U.S.C. 1091(r)(1)).
