NEW STUDENTS
Building your OVU application file may seem like an overwhelming task, but it doesn’t have to be. In this toolkit we bring together everything you need to build and submit a successful application file. Just use each tool and follow each instruction, and you’ll have yours constructed in no time!
1. Online Application
Choose the appropriate APPLY ONLINE button, fill out the form completely and submit your application.
2. Submit Test Scores (ACT or SAT)

3. Submit Transcripts
If you have not yet graduated, we request that you send an interim transcript. See Step 8 for more information.

5. Dormitory Deposit / Commuter Pre-Pay
For your convenience, you can make your Dormitory Deposit or Commuter Pre-Pay deposit through our secure PayPal account.

6. Submit Roommate Compatibility Form
Getting the best roommate fit is an important part of the enrollment process. Completing the Roommate Compatibility Form will help OVU’s Residential Life staff match your preferences with another student and get you started off on just the right footing.

Submit Official Final Transcript
if you have not yet graduated, we request that you submit an interim transcript (step 4) and then submit a final transcript upon graduation

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
In order to be accepted for admission at OVU, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
High school GPA of at least a 2.5 on a 4-point scale
Composite of at least 18 on the ACT or a combined score of at least 940 on the SAT. (Unless the student graduated from high school four or more years prior to the planned OVU enrollment.)
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria may be eligible for provisional acceptance.

RETURNING STUDENTS
For students who would like to re-apply to OVU, complete the Re-Application Form and send official transcripts from all other institutions attended.
COLLEGE COSTS
See the Current OVU Basic Cost Sheet showing estimated costs for typical undergraduate boarding students. Honors scholarships are awarded based on academic credentials at the time of admission. Information about Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be found at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
