SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

The School of Education offers undergraduate certification programs in 11 areas. High standards ensure that graduates are “learner ready,” requiring specific criteria for program admission, retention, and graduation from the program. Three transition points (program admission, admission to student teaching, and program completion) provide a time for reflection by the student and program faculty to be sure that the student’s program is progressing satisfactorily and that the certification program is a good career goal for the student. Program advisors work closely with students, helping them to fulfill all program components.
