Ohio Valley University’s annual Homecoming Weekend returns to campus Thursday, September 19-21, 2019. A full weekend of 80’s-themed celebrations begins at 6:00 PM with a pig roast, a car bash, and a concert to kick off the weekend. Friday’s activities open at 11:00 AM with the Alumni Chapel Service followed by the inauguration of President Michael Ross. A Taco Bar & 80’s Trivia follows. Planned events of the day close with the Alumni Soccer Game.

Starting at 9 AM Saturday is the anticipated annual Homecoming 5K. An 80’s Alumni Breakfast honors graduates from 1980-1989. A traditional Tailgate Party precedes the men’s soccer game, which begins at 3:30 PM. Pageantry is on full display with the annual crowning of Homecoming King and Queen, during halftime of the men’s game. Highlander Awards Dinner begins at 6:00 PM. The fun-filled weekend closes with hot chocolate and a bonfire, accompanied by an 80’s DJ playing 80’s hits.
