Professional Preparation
OVU offers a range of opportunities to prepare for professional school in a range of fields in medicine and in law. Students may choose a traditional major, such as biology for those in health related fields, or for law, from several of the choices in other fields.
Minors
A Major requires at least 40 credit hours, 21 of which must be in upper-level work; a minor requires at least 18 credit hours, at least 6 of which must be in upper-level work (or a designated equivalent).
