Jennifer graduated from OVC in 2001 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Multi-Categorical Education. She is originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia, and still resides there with her two daughters.
Read MoreAt the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, OVU announced they would be departing the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (affiliated with NCAA Division II) and the search began to find a new home for Fighting Scots athletics. That search was more refined in February when Ohio Valley was granted provisional membership in the River States Conference, pending the final decision of the NAIA.

We currently have students from Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Puerto Rico, France and other countries These students can't fit items like sheets and pillows in their checked luggage, so OVU's faithful supporters provide new bedding, snacks, and other items.
Read MoreDuring our first chapel of the new semester, President Ross welcomed students back to OVU by sharing a sign that said "We Rise Up." He told us that when he read the sign's message, he knew the words were for such a time as this at OVU. He challenged us to hold doors for strangers, say good morning, tip generously, smile at passersby, talk to the lonely, be patient with one another, buy a stranger coffee, and engage in other acts of kindness. He asked us to judge less and understand more.

The anthology features 100 poets and fiction writers from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
