Vienna, W.Va.—Kay Grose, Ohio Valley University’s Director of Admissions Management, recently announced the appointment of Larissa DeLancey as Director of Admissions Records and Communications Manager.
“Larissa’s focused work practices, strength in systems assessment, varied experiences in the Admissions Department and strong commitment to the mission of OVU combine to provide the university with a well-grounded and forward-thinking individual for this critical role,” Grose shared.
Larissa DeLancey has been an Admissions Office employee since completing her degree at OVU in 2014. Her role in recruiting the recent growth in the school’s enrollment uniquely qualifies her for her latest appointment.
Her work as Director of Admissions Records and Communications Manager supports the efforts of the student recruiters in the field. Making sure everything is processed and reported while tracking trends are the key components of her assignment. Additionally, her office manages all outgoing and incoming mail and email for Admissions.
“I love it,” DeLancey says. “I love processing and evaluating systems. This is my kind of thing. My experiences in Admissions have very well equipped me to take over this role,” DeLancey added.
