Vienna, W.Va.—Jeff Sandy, West Virginia’s Secretary for the Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety, will serve as the commencement speaker at the 56th annual graduation ceremony at Ohio Valley University. Commencement exercises will be held Saturday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the Alumni Gymnasium on the Main Campus in Vienna.
“In addition to everything else Secretary Sandy does he serves as one of our adjunct professors at OVU,” Provost Joy Jones added. “It will be great to have him as our commencement speaker.”
Sandy is a former Sheriff of Wood County.
