Vienna, W.Va.—Ohio Valley University is excited to host the annual 50th class reunion honoring the graduating class of 1968 as well as those who attended during that time.
OVU is offering a free celebratory dinner for 1968 alumni and one guest on May 4th. At dinner, alumni will be presented with a medallion which they are encouraged to wear as they march in with the graduating class of 2018 at OVU’s annual commencement ceremony on May 5th.
Among those returning to campus are Robert (Bob) and Ridglae Stephens. The couple met on their first day as students at Ohio Valley College and married after their sophomore year. Bob Stephens held OVC’s presidency from 1998 to 2005 and was the first alumni to serve as president of the school.
“We are looking forward to connecting with friends from the class of 1968; some of whom we have not seen in 50 years. OVU is a special place that has touched so many lives and we are just two of those lives,” Bob and Ridglae remark.
