December Graduation

Ohio Valley University’s first December Commencement took place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13th, 2019, in Robert’s Chapel. This year’s graduating class consisted of twelve students receiving degrees varying from Associate's, Bachelor's, to Master's.

The commencement started with a welcoming and introduction by President Michael Ross, following an invocation by Dean of School of Bible and Ministry, Dr. Michael Moss. The OVU Acapella Singers, directed by Jon Sarver, followed with two songs. Student Graduate speaker, Caleb Wells, spoke and inspired his fellow graduates to keep God as their focus. Our commencement address was given by Director of Marketing and College of Business Instructor, Roxanne Wilson, encouraging students with positive words. After students received their diplomas, J.R. Miller, Director of Spiritual Life led the students and families in the singing of our OVU Alma Mater and Bless Be The Tie.
