Classes Move Online for Remainder of Spring Semester
Ohio Valley University has shifted to a distance-learning format in an effort to minimize the potential for spreading the disease known as COVID-19. The university has made this decision based on the stay at home order per WV Governor Jim Justice. The move to online format has been both beneficial and evolving.Dean of Faculty, Dr. Wes Crum expressed, “In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, our students and faculty have embraced change and risen to the new demand for distance and online learning. I am proud of how everyone has worked together to make this change seamless.” Faculty members are communicating with students to convey the specific information as well as advising and supporting them during this abrupt change mid semester. Commencement in May has been postponed and classes will remain online through the remainder of the spring semester.
