Both her undergraduate and graduate experiences at Freed Hardman and in the classroom for the past 20 years, will provide students the necessary tools to achieve their goals. “I am looking forward to being back at a Christian University and immersing myself into the culture surrounding OVU. I look forward to helping all students find success during their time here.”

Read MoreDue to the challenges our world is facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ohio Valley University has announced that 2020 graduates will be honored through a virtual graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 16, starting at 11:00 a.m. with the official graduation ceremony being postponed until August 22, 2020.
Read MoreOn Saturday, May 2, OVU faculty, staff and their families lined up to surprise the students with a new tradition, a finals week parade. Handing out everything from the expected candy to homemade pepperoni rolls to Ziploc bags filled with Gatorade and goodies galore, the students were more than appreciative. Chalk drawn marks were placed six feet apart for the students to enjoy the parade and still maintain social distancing. The 18 car line up, including a motorcycle, were decorated with balloons, streamers, and messages of encouragement written on the windows and on poster boards.
