SOCIAL CLUBS
You can’t be on campus more than fifteen minutes without someone hearing these two words: SOCIAL CLUBS!
Ohio Valley University has three social clubs: Delta, Sigma, and Kappa. Each club has a unique personality and new students are encouraged to find the one that fits them best and join.
Throughout the year, the four clubs compete for highly esteemed Club of the Year. We battle it out through intramural sports, highest average GPA, community service points, and Expressions! (a student variety show).
Though competition is fierce, the Club of the Year title is not our main goal. Club members become friends and family as we journey through our education together. We gather for holiday parties, bonfires, and picnics. We support one another, laugh, cry, and study together.

CHEER CLUB
At Ohio Valley University, we LOVE to cheer on our FIGHTING SCOTS!
The OVU Cheer Club provides the university with the chance to support our Scots! High spirits aren’t the only thing THIS cheer club provides while supporting the athletic program! They exhibit a good example on campus and in the community as well.
Cheering for home men and women’s basketball games is only a highlight of what THIS cheer club does. Supporting additional games and giving back to the community are HUGE reasons of why this club is important to us here at Ohio Valley University. Doing their part in the community and cheering for all sports on campus is what makes this club so special.

PERFORMING ARTS
Ohio Valley University’s student theater program brings all the world onto one stage for those who, like Shakespeare’s Jaques, recognize the theatric in every moment. Performing such diverse productions as Little Shop of Horrors and The Diary of Anne Frank, the OVUTheatre Department offers students the opportunity to develop range and depth as they bring life to the stage.

SCUF
Created in 2013, SCUF (Scots Club Ultimate Flyers) has been a mainstay on the OVU campus ever since.
The sport of Ultimate is quick, relentless, graceful, and down-right fun! Whether we are practicing, competing, or just hanging out together, SCUF is firmly-rooted in brotherhood and shared-sacrifice: it is a bond much deeper than just sharing the same jersey. We sweat together - we run together - we grow together...and we are looking for players just like you! This is team-sports at its finest!
