Academic
High school students with at least a 21ACT/1060SAT and a 3.0 GPA or higher. Transfer students with at least a 3.25 college GPA.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship
Students whose parents graduated from OVU, OVC, or Northeastern Christian Junior College are eligible for $2,500 per year.
Athletic

Child of Minister Award
Students who are the children of a paid full time minister could be eligible for additional scholarship funds. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more details.
Congregational Match Scholarship
OVU Will double any congregational contribution toward an individual student’s education, (up to $5,000 per year)
Express
Scholarships are available for members of Express. Selections are determined by audition. Go to ovu.edu/express1 for more information.
Faith-Based High School
Wood/Washington County $6,000 per year (up to 4 years; Faith based school outside Wood/Wash County $4,000 per year (up to 4 years)
Mid-Ohio Valley Grant
Students who graduated from a high school in a surrounding county (Wood, Pleasants, Ritchie, Wirt, Jackson WV or Washington, OH) are eligible for a $5,000 annual scholarship.

Club Captain
$1,000 a year, up to 4 year (one per club for Ultimate Frisbee, Cheerleading, etc). Application deadline is March 15th of High School senior year.
Early Acceptance
Students who apply and are accepted by Dec. 31 of their senior year are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship, freshman year only.
Performing Arts Awards
Scholarships are available to students who participate in OVU Singers, Ambassadors or Theater. Contact Jon Sarver (Jon.Sarver@ovu.edu) for details.
Presidential Leadership Scholarship
Awarded to 3 qualified, outstanding incoming freshmen per year. Apply with Admissions by March 15th of your senior year!
Trustee’s Academic
Full ride scholarship for tuition, room, and board (fees not included) to one incoming freshmen per year with at least a 30 ACT or 1380 SAT and a High School GPA of 3.5 or higher. Must submit an application, essay, and reference to the Financial Aid Office by March 15th of your senior year!
